Travel Guide - Lakeside Chapel Meningie is a little piece of tranquil heaven found in Meningie, at the beginning of the Coorong. it's an unassuming and surprising hideaway.
Though aging gracefully on the outside, inside is a different story. This 1900s chapel has all the character and charm from its original use as a church, but with a single loft room, stone kitchen, regal furnishings, quaint bathroom and lots more.
This hideaway is best suited to twin share couples but can host up to six people maximum if you are willing to use the double leather futon and two single mattresses on the floor. This is a private retreat, with full house access.
There is a full kitchen with slow combustion heater, full fridge, stove, microwave oven and tea and coffee making facilities. The kitchen seats four comfortably. All food/drinks must be provided by the guest. Other facilities include reverse cycle air conditioning, CD and music port, television and DVD.
The locked cupboard under the stairs is off limits but the open cupboard houses ironing facilities, pedestal fans and other necessities. The small shed at the rear has laundry facilities with outdoor clothesline and indoor clothes rack.... Grateful that you visited Travel Guide
