Herons Rise Vineyard Accommodation is a family-owned vineyard on the slopes above Kettering village, with superb views across the D’Enntrecasteaux Channel to Bruny Island. Kettering is 30 minutes south of Hobart and is the gateway to the increasingly popular Bruny Island. We offer two self-contained, boutique cottages with glorious sea and rural views, individually designed for your comfort in a peaceful vineyard setting. In winter (and cool summer days!), enjoy cosy warmth in front of a log-fire. Eat out or prepare your own dinner from our reasonably-priced basket of wholesome goodies, complemented by a bottle of our Pinot Noir and/or a crisp white Muller Thurgau. We also offer breakfast provisions for a reasonable rate, including a loaf of our freshly baked bread and eggs from our free-range chooks. Waken to bird-song and real coffee after a blissful night’s sleep and spend your days exploring Bruny Island, the marinas nearby and the arts and crafts along the beautiful Huon Trail.
