Travel Guide - Walk through eucalypt forest to Crows Nest Falls lookout and see water tumbling over 20 metre high granite cliffs. Depending on the season, the waterfall can be a mere trickle or a raging torrent. Warning: For your safety, never attempt to climb around the lookout barriers to access the waterhole or waterfall-to do so could result in serious injury or cost you your life!
Take the Kauyoo Loop (an extra 600 metres) for an alternate walk back to the picnic area. At Kauyoo Pool a sandy beach allows easy access to the shallow water. Steep crevices and slippery rocks lead to Cascades where you can hear the 'tock tock' calls of striped marshfrogs echoing around the boulders in summer. Watch your step, especially if the creek is flowing. This is a good spot to sit quietly and keep watch for rock wallabies.... Grateful that you visited Travel Guide
