Project Contemporary Artspace
255 Keira Street, Wollongong, NSW
Travel Guide - Project Contemporary Artspace, is a not-for-profit, artist run initiative operated entirely by volunteers. It was originally opened in 1995 by three local graduate artists who recognised there was no existing space for local artists to exhibit and perform new work. Project aims to provide opportunities and support to a diverse range of emerging and existing local artists, gaining them exposure and professional experience. As such they curate an eclectic program of exhibitions and events throughout the year. The gallery is a large, open plan industrial space in the heart of Wollongong, recently refurbished to professional gallery standards. It is one of the only wheelchair accessible galleries in the area and also boasts its own car park. Thanks for visiting Travel Guide
