Kuranda Visitor Information Centre

Travel Guide - The Kuranda Visitor Information Centre is located at Centenary Park, Therwine Street, in Kuranda. The accredited Kuranda Visitor Information Centre is staffed by a team of skilled and knowledgeable volunteers seven days a week 364 days a year. The Centre stocks a range of local books and DVDs that focus on the rainforest, wildlife and wet tropics areas around the region as well as a growing shop space showcasing locally made products and works by local artists. The Centre offers travel information, maps, brochures and is also equipped to book tours, and can supply information on local areas as well as the whole Queensland region. Part of the Centre houses an interpretive corner showcasing a unique display of Djabugay Tribal artefacts, information on the Wet Tropics and National Parks.
