Travel Guide - Kim Nelson was born on the South Coast of NSW and on his Mother's side related to landscape painter Leonard Long. Kim spent a year studying at the renowned Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney. He went on to graphic design and advertising concurrent with a career as a singer/songwriter. He was manager/curator of historic houses and represented the ACT Museums and Galleries in tourism and marketing.
Embarking on his full time art career in 1996 Kim has staged numerous solo exhibitions. 2010 saw Kim open a public studio, a part working studio, gallery and performance venue.
Visitors to the studio will be able to view the artist working and see artworks in progress as they are prepared for solo exhibitions.
Kim Nelson Fine Art and Editions is located in an historic 'Oddfellows' Hall' and is a classic part of Yass Valley history located on the main street of Yass. Thankful that you visited Travel Guide
