Travel Guide - Ben Roberts Cafe and Gallery is an exciting venue in Lawson.
The original cottage was built by Ben Roberts in 1893 and was occupied by tradesmen such as the local boot-maker and coal merchant. Now fully renovated with a modern cafe decorated with owner's artworks with seating for 50 inside and out.
The attached gallery exhibitions change every three weeks with various featured artists. During the opening of exhibitions various mountains musicians and poets are featured.
The cafe is open daily except Tuesday with tasty hotpots, garden fresh salads, soups, gourmet sandwiches, delicious cakes and Devonshire teas and Toby's Estate coffee. A breakfast menu is also available until 11.30 am.
The cafe is licensed and sells Mt. Lawson wines and Bilpin apple and pear ciders. Stanley plays the piano on Saturday mornings.
