Travel Guide - Located under two hours’ drive from Melbourne, close to the coastal suburb of Wonthaggi and set on a three acre property, Jongebloed B&B is a restored 1920’s house built by the owners grandfather.
All rooms are furnished with antique furniture and contain an en-suite bathroom. With a stunning rural outlook, the house has beautiful wide verandas, a large lounge and a games room for relaxing.
This bed and breakfast is a short drive to some spectacular landscapes and great tourist attractions, including Philip Island, Inverloch and Harmers Haven.
The area is noted for its surf and secluded bay beaches, providing the opportunity for a variety of activities.
The owner provides a delicious cooked breakfast which usually sees people through until dinner, although cafes throughout the area serve a wide variety of excellent foods as well. Local wines can be found at some dining venues. Hotels, pubs and restaurants usually satisfy most palates. Antique shops, art galleries and wineries can be found locally and ountry markets within easy reach, occur most weekends.
