Travel Guide - Hume Park is located on the backwaters of Lake Burrinjuck and was established in 1927. It was developed to commemorate the epic crossing of the flooded Murrumbidgee River by the Hume and Hovell expedition in October 1824. Brief details of this event are on a stone cairn near the boat ramp. Easily accessible, tree shaded, relaxing and quiet, it is ideal for day visitors and a water skier's haven with plenty of room to move around. Please phone the operator for the current water levels. If you wish to stay a little longer there are Powered and unpowered sites, and cabins are also available. The facilities include a kiosk, public amenities, picnic area and swimming area, barbecue, fishing (licences available at the kiosk), launching ramp, fuel, indoor amusement centre, water ski equipment and accessories. Bring the whole family along for a peaceful escape. Thankful that you visited Travel Guide
