Travel Guide -Great Ocean Road Surf Tours surf school,home of the 'Big Wave' was set up in 2005 by Alistair & Rachel Lawson. They wanted to offer 'the simplest, most enjoyable way to experience and develop your surfing'. Their motto that today still stands strong.Â

"As an avid surfer I asked myself, 'How would I have liked to be taught?' From here the memories of learning to surf and hanging out at the beach all day brought back some of the best memories of growing up. I wanted to share my experiences but without the hassle of how to get to the beach or what beach is the best to go to.
I feel that joining our personalised tours feels like you are surfing with your friends but everything is taken care of.Â
Learning to surf can be hard as there are a lot of elements that you need to know about in order to get started. You need to know about the beach, the conditions, the equipment and of course the surfing lingo!
With all our staff being passionate and dedicated, fully qualified, experienced surfers and coaches, you are in the best hands and the tour options we offer cater for everyone.
