Travel Guide - The Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery is the caretaker of the Bundaberg Regional Council Collection on behalf of the community of Bundaberg and the Bundaberg Regional Council. The Arts Gallery's role is to develop preservation and conservation plans and practices to ensure the future protection of this Collection and to make it accessible to the Bundaberg and district community through exhibitions and public display.

The Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery's permanent collection is comprised of four sub-collections which amount to over 400 works across all art forms. The Collection sub-sections include: The Dr Egmont Schmidt Memorial Collection, The Bundaberg Regional Council Corporate Collection ( which now includes the former Burnett, Isis and Kolan collections), The Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery Collection and the Bundaberg Public Art Collection.
