Travel Guide - Mountain Seas Arts and Wilderness Retreat is uniquely situated on Flinders Island between Mt. Strzelecki and two beautiful beaches. A well-equipped Arts Centre, eight cozy well-appointed rooms, and a self-contained Studio all support our visitors' access to the rugged wilderness of the surrounding 40,000 acres of National Park. The Retreat Centre is understated elegance at the edge of the wild, and provides a world-class destination for adventurers, romantics, groups and families. Our large Hot Springs Spa offers deep relaxation at the end of a day of exploration. Mountain Seas Retreat offers accommodation for an 'Arts and Wilderness' focused experience. We welcome our guests to immerse themselves in the natural world and find their unique creative expression. Mountain Seas works with island instructors including photography, watercolour, painting and music. We will co-ordinate guided bush walks and island tours. We can host your group and provide meals, or arrange for you to use our community kitchen. Details are arranged with each group. On occasion, we feature special dinners with guest chefs.
