Travel Guide - Corroboree Billabong is part of the Mary River Wetlands which are teaming with birds and also have one of the largest concentration of Saltwater Crocodiles in the world. These wetland habitats are a paradise for birds, fish, crocodiles and other wildlife. The scenery here is spectacular with lush wetlands covered in an abundance of pink and purple lilies. Enjoy a guided scenic cruise on these pristine wetlands viewing an amazing variety of birds and also crocodiles in their natural environment. Get up close and personal with the local wildlife while listening to interesting information from your guide about the region. They offer a variety of cruises throughout the day of 1 hour, 1.5 hours and 2.5 hours in length, cruises operate daily from April to December. For visitors with their own transport, this destination is only a 90 minutes drive from Darwin (104 kilometres) and on your way to Kakadu.
