It was originally two companies, one named POPEYE’S BOAT HIRE and the other CAPTAIN BARB E BOAT HIRE, which was appropriate in the good old days when Crocodile Dundee visited the Gold Coast. Today, however, with the tremendous growth and numerous entertainment attractions on the Gold Coast, the modern tourist rightfully expects a better quality boat and service excellence. The names were changed to MIRAGE BOAT HIRE to reflect the upmarket quality of the boats and service we provide to our clients. No expense was spared to provide you with the LARGEST and MOST LUXURIOUS fleet to choose from. Our boats are all maintained to the highest mechanical and safety standards and offer you the best quality possible, to ensure that you have a wonderful day cruising the beautiful Nerang River and Broadwater. Our boats are all fully upholstered, including the half cabin area for your comfort, as well as full covers to protect you from the elements. Our large fleet of 22 boats caters for every need, from the mini speedboats, various size half cabins from 15’ to 20’, Sweetwater Party Pontoons, BBQ Pontoons onto the large 33’ BBQ Party Pontoon, Four Winns Bowrider and a 45 person party cruiser.
