Travel Guide - Marchmont Park Alpacas was established in 2005 on a 40 acre property situated on the Wee Jasper Road just four kilometres from Yass Post office. This is an area well suited to alpacas with cold winters and dry summers. Some Alpaca products are available at the Yass Valley Visitor Information Centre. Alpacas serve many purposes including breeding, showing, they are producers of superb fleece, and are also sheep and goat guardians and of course pets. Having both retired, the owners are able to spend much of their time with the alpacas in their day-to-day care and to be there when crias are born. They are committed to breeding healthy animals with sound temperaments. Visitors are welcome by appointment. Open Days held in July/August. Thankful that you visited Travel Guide
